Rules and Discipline for students of JVM Shyamali

1. If a child is absent for more than fifteen days without informing the school authority, the school will struck off the name of the students from their class attendance register.

2. Pupil will attend classes regularly and punctually. Pupil reporting late will not be permitted to enter the class without the prior permission of the Principal / Vice Principal / Section Incharge.

3. No Pupil will leave the School premises during School hours without the permission of the Principal / Vice Principal / Section Incharge.

4. Every Pupil will bring his School Diary daily. The pupil will take down the Assignment allotted for the day in the School Diary or any other notice given by a teacher.

5. Students are to keep the class-room and school premises absolutely clean. They will not cause any damage to School Property. If any case is reported, the class / pupil concerned will be liable for disciplinary action / shall bear the cost of damage as ascertained by school after an enquiry.

6. Students are to note the scribbling or writing on the wall will invite strict disciplinary action. Use of swear words and foul language, scribbling and scratching on School furniture and School walls and any misbehavior in school buses and public places will be strictly dealt with.

7. Pupil who comes to school in the care of a helper or any special arrangement should be advised not to leave the School Premises before the helper or guardian arrives.

8. Parent is requested to collect their children on time.

9. Parents to ensure that their child does not bring to school any gadget / mobile phone / expensive article / pen drive / CD / large amount of money, forbidden material, etc. The same will invite strict disciplinary action.

10. Each child must look after his own items / personal belongings.

11. Students are instructed not to play in the classroom or use cricket bats and hockey sticks, except on the playground. The cost of repairs caused by damage to school property will be charged to the concerned students.

12. Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or willfully mischievous or is guilty of malpractice in connection with examinations or has committed an act of serious indiscipline and/or misbehavior or who, in the opinion of the Head of the Institution, has an unwholesome influence on his fellow pupil, may be expelled permanently or removed from the school for a specified period by the Principal.

13. In event of any problem related to school, parents to contact school authorities first.

14. This applies to picnics, excursions and other outings also. Anybody who organizes or takes part in these unauthorized activities will be liable for disciplinary action.
